Our recruitment process is remote-friendly, with all interview stages conducted via Microsoft Teams - except for the final interview, which is held in person at our office in Dusseldorf.

Thank you for considering a career opportunity with Intersnack IT. To ensure transparency and provide clarity throughout our recruitment process, we've outlined the various steps involved, what you can expect at each stage, and the approximate waiting times between steps.

1. Application Confirmation: Upon submitting your application through our online portal or via email, you will receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application. Our recruitment team will then review your qualifications and experience against the job requirements.

2. Application Review: If your profile aligns with our current needs, you will be contacted by one of our recruiters for an initial screening call. This conversation typically lasts around 30 minutes and aims to assess your interest in the role, discuss your experience in more detail, and answer any initial questions you may have about Intersnack IT and the position.

3. Interviews: a. Meet & Greet Interview: This interview is usually conducted by a member of our HR team or a hiring manager and focuses on assessing your fit for the role and cultural alignment with Intersnack IT. You can expect questions about your background, skills, and motivation for joining our organization.

b. First Interview: In this stage, you may meet with additional team members or stakeholders to dive deeper into specific aspects of the role and assess your technical expertise or domain knowledge.

c. Final Round Interview: A final interview is scheduled with senior leadership or key decision-makers to evaluate your suitability for the role and potential fit within our organization. This interview is held in person at our office in Dusseldorf.

4. Assessment/Case Study (if applicable): Depending on the role you're applying for, there may be an assessment or case study component to evaluate your skills and problem-solving abilities. If applicable, you will receive detailed instructions and a timeline for completing this step.

5. Document Checks (if applicable): After the interviews, we may request your consent to contact your previous employers or professional contacts for reference checks. These checks help us gain a deeper understanding of your work history, performance, and character, assisting us in making informed hiring decisions.

6. Offer Stage: If you successfully progress through the interview process and are the preferred choice for the vacancy, we will extend a job offer outlining the terms and conditions of employment via an offer call. You will have the opportunity to review the offer, ask any remaining questions, and make an informed decision about joining Intersnack IT.

Approximate Waiting Times: We understand the importance of timely communication during the recruitment process. While waiting times may vary depending on factors such as the volume of applications received and the availability of interviewers, we strive to keep you informed at every stage. On average, you can expect:

  • Initial Screening: Within 1 week of application submission

  • Interviews: Typically scheduled within 1-2 weeks of the initial screening, with feedback provided shortly thereafter

  • Assessment/Case Study: Varies depending on the complexity of the task (typically 1-2 weeks)

  • Document Checks: Conducted promptly after final interviews, if applicable

  • Offer Stage: Following successful completion of all interviews and reference checks, we aim to present offers within 1-2 days.
